Jacqueline Hernandez is a first-generation Salvadoran-American artist based out in NJ. She’s an educator and acclaimed artist. Her art is multi-faceted and focuses on totemic style sculptures, paintings, and even jewelry. Her art is heavily informed by her identity as part of the Salvadoran diaspora. She even credits her learning about her family background as the reason to why she became an artist.
